Hall of Famer David Winfield is the latest ex-ballplayer to join the ranks of analyst position at ESPN. David Winfield is best know for his athletic prowess. He was drafted in all 3 major sports.
As a pioneer of the game Winfield will draw off of his experiences as an Former Big league Player and World Champion, and will lend his knowledge in areas that the normal fan could relate to.
Winfield played his college ball at the University of Minnesota. His stints in the major leagues with six teams including San Diego Padres, NY Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays & Minnesota Twins. He will be a great asset to ESPN.
